ear
Mary & Matthew,
This is an open letter to you to publicly proclaim it is cold today. -20c/-4f this afternoon and with the windchill it is -26c/-14.8f. That said, I still only had a sweater and windbreaker on, no hat. The wind is what was the deciding factor on the coldness. "Kid's" grandma took him out for lunch today for a reward, because after 3 years of failing school, this first semester of the school year he was only 2% away from getting on the Honor Roll. We are quite proud of him.
After lunch we went to a
store that has work clothing in it and I wanted to find my boyfriend a hat with
ear
flaps, as you know he works outside all day. "Kid" talked me into
getting fur-lined ones for us too. We wore ours out of the store. I do not think
"Kid" has taken even taken his hat off and we have been home for
several hours now. So yes.. we have cold weather hats now. I anticipate
using mine running the dog team. Yes, I still run the dog team in this and worse
weather, they love it and the cooler it is, the better they run. I plan on
taking them out for a 19 mile run tomorrow.
It took 2 days to get the tractor running to get the hay bales moved. It was cold and the battery was draining? But after multiple hours of being hooked up with jumper cables to 2 trucks, it finally started to go Grumble, Grumble., grumble, Roar!! So it will live the rest of the winter down at the house plugged into the electric socket now, so the block heater stays heated.
After posting about the free pdf sample of the magazine, I spent a good chunk of the morning sending those off to people, and then this afternoon was dedicated to printing off more magazines, getting them hand folded, stapled and packaged up to mail out tomorrow. I think I need to hire an employee soon. There was so many people who came to this website and blog last night.
This website had 3,078 hits on it yesterday, we also got alot of new subscribers, some renewals and alot of inquiries. What was amazing to me is where people were at... the United States ,Canada, Australia, France ,Great Britain ,European Union ,Portugal ,Greece ,Turkey and Macedonia. I know we have many overseas subscribers, but I had to admit, I had to look up where Macedonia was.
Dinner is ready.. Calazones, just like we had when you guys were up here.. talk to you later.
