October 13, 2006

t was a very busy day from the time I woke up. Seventeen new subscriptions, including one to France as well as a few more renewals. I spent most of the morning sorting all of the out, trying to beat my email into submission over sending pdf's. If someone did not get theirs, let me know. I will resend it.

I had to go round up the last of the Summer 2006 issues to send out. Currently there are no more, but as soon as our industrial size 'paper cutter' comes in, I can start printing them again. We tried the new one, but it only feathers the edges and looks far worse than not trimming at all, so it is going back and we are special ordering another schookum one. Sent more magazines to the post office today from the new orders, all except one which wanted the LAST Summer 2006 issue which is available right now, but I had to drive 50 miles to get it. That one will be sent out on Monday with the others which were ordered while I was gone on errands.

I got brave and took "Daisy" the cow for a walk and to graze in the lawn this evening. My boyfriend was able to get quite close to her (compared to normal) and she threw a bit of a fuss. When I put her back in her pasture again, he handed her a bit of hay which she took from his hand.. cool.

The boys got another grouse tonight. We also have 2 spare kids spending the weekend. Calazone was the dinner of choice tonight. I was going to make cinnamon buns, but 2 kids were lagging on doing dishes and after 9 pm, my enthusiasm for making them diminished.

I may do a bit of reading tonight after I finish this and curl up with the new kitten, whom is the snuggly sort.
