They specialize in semi-precious stone and sterling silver one of a kind rings, bracelets, necklaces and pendants. They feel themselves lucky they have some of the rare Ammolite fossils which are soon becoming Canada's national stone. These people are whom I now buy all my gifts for friends and family from. Less expensive than you'd think.

I am blessed with being able to see the Northern Lights fairly often. For others of you in areas also able to see Northern Lights, here is a daily Aurora Forecast for them. There are live cams here and here for those who are not fortunate enough to be able to see them in their area. 

The Right to Know Network and the Canadian equivalent, show you what local hazards are around your town and who released what toxic chemicals and pollutants into the soil, water and air. A real eye opener. Check out towns upwind and upriver from you too.

When people wonder where I live, I tell them I live in a little town in upper British Columbia, in a place called "Moosetown". I have always been fascinated with moose and worked with many species of African Gazelles when I was a veterinary technician for a zoo. Here is a live moose webcam. No, it is not a webcam at my house...yet. 

When I am working on the computer, I usually enjoy listening to music. This is one of my favorite online stations. I listen to the archives.
