Heirloom Acres Seed Company I have bought seed from these fine people more than a couple times. They have quality open pollinated heirloom vegetable and flower seed which does not cost an arm and a leg. When they state 25 in a packet, it is usually FAR MORE than that. I highly recommend them. Tell Thom that 'Tenzicut' sent you. I am ordering most of my seed from him this year. You can't go wrong with Heirloom Acres. I have bought seed from these fine people more than a couple times. Bob is an awesome videographer who has filmed for such television
shows as Bowhunter Magazine Television. They say a picture is worth a
thousand words, How many words does that make a video worth then???
Capturing the essence of an outdoor experience goes far beyond simply
turning on the camera like those videos you see of yourself as a kid. To
truly record the spirit of the
adventure it takes proper video equipment and knowing how to use that
equipment to capture the little nuances and feel of the experience. AAAction Adventure Videography, home of the AAAction Adventure Camera Arm, takes pride in providing you quality equipment but quality service, as well. |
| The people at Living Off Grid have been wonderful to talk to about living the lifestyle off grid (and grid-tied) using solar, wind or hydro power . Check out their website for great and informative articles. | |

I was blessed with being able to see the Northern Lights fairly often in Canada. For others of you in areas also able to see Northern Lights, here is a daily Aurora Forecast for them. There are live cams here and here for those who are not fortunate enough to be able to see them in their area. |

The Right to Know Network and the Canadian equivalent, show you what local hazards are around your town and who released what toxic chemicals and pollutants into the soil, water and air. A real eye opener. Check out towns upwind and upriver from you too. |

When I am working on the computer, I usually enjoy listening to music. This is one of my favorite online stations. I listen to the archives. |
What people are saying about
"Down to the Roots" magazine
"I got my Down to the Roots mag in the mail a month or so ago... I have read and re-read it many times over. I have found it to be so much more valuable to me than Mother Earth News, or other magazines in the "class". In fact, "Down to the Roots" is in a Class of its own! I cannot believe the info that I found in there, the things I didn't know and how EASY it was to read. There was NO flipping to the back of the magazine, through hundreds of pages of ads, to find the end of an article I was into! I feel as though I can go out and do any one of the projects, stock up on things and feel like I have the ability to use it!
Things I would never have seen myself doing before, I feel as though I am a pro!
(well not a pro, but I feel confident that I can do things)
This is a great resource, that is much needed out there. "
