These are a few sample pages of what "Down to the Roots" Magazine is all about. Ranging from cooking, cleaning, fiber arts, gardening, seed saving, animal care and so much more around the homestead no matter where you live. There is something for everyone, including children. It is written in an easy to understand language for everyone and written for the beginning homesteader as well as the person with more experience. 

"Down to the Roots" arrives in your mailbox 4 times a year. Originally written to be a book, it is in magazine format with little or no advertisements to wade through. You get more than 200 pages of complete reading material each year which is the size of a book. From time to time we do take requests for making articles of what you want to see, so if you have questions or comments, send us an email. Many people order all the back issues as well to be able to have the complete set. 

As of January 2008, the Magazine is currently being sent to 10 countries, 41 US States and 5 Canadian Provinces.
